Bachelor of Science in Photography
With Minor In Biology

My love for photography developed a little later in life for me. While I was attending Wharton County Junior College with intentions of obtaining my pre-med basics, I got a part-time for Ritz/Wolf Camera. It wasn't long after starting there that I started to play with the equipment and really start to like the art of photographing. After several months of working there, I purchased my first DSLR, a Nikon D70. From that purchase on, no scene or family outing was safe.

In 2006, I transferred to Sam Houston State University and decided to change my major to Photography. I came in as a Junior with no credits towards my major. The photography class cramming began. I took 9-12 hours each semester of photography classes alone. I didn't want to waste the time spent on all my pre-med classes I had taken so I kept Biology as my minor. The class load was rough at times but I have never regret my degree change. I met some wonderful friends and not to mention the great teachers at SHSU. I graduated in 2008 from SHSU and decided to stay in the Huntsville area for the time being. Around that time I had a management position at Office Depot and stayed working there and photographing all I could for clients anytime that I wasn't working.

I took a huge leap of faith in 2011 and quit working at Office Depot. I was engaged and planning a wedding but something told me that I needed to be elsewhere. I listened to the calling and a few weeks after quitting got the amazing opportunity to start work for a local frame shop. God had bigger plans and I could not be more blessed to have that job opportunity come my way. I now run the store which is only open 4 days a week leaving me ample time to focus on my photography and my clients.

I have had the most amazing support from Needville all the way to Huntsville and as far north as Kansas. I love what I do and can't wait to share my passion with you and help you "Preserve Your Memories For A Lifetime." I specialize in Weddings, Senior Portraits, and Boudoir Photography but love photographing families, children, maternity and more. Get in touch with me and I will make sure that those special life moments are captured forever!!!
